Axel won second price in the pine wood derby district race. This means he will now race in the regional race in Jacksonville in a few weeks. [more pictures] Axel is tweede geworden in de pine wood derby wedstrijd voor welpen rond Gainesville. Hij gaat nu door naar de regionale wedstrijd (noord florida) over een paar weken in Jacksonville. Hans and Beatriz are at Niagara Falls. It is a bit snowy and frozen, but really pretty. [more pictures] Hans en Beatriz zijn bij Niagara Falls. Er ligt wat sneeuw en het is bevroren, maar wel heel mooi. [meer fotos]

Alex has lost his second tooth. His first one could not be located because he was eating an apple and you can guess where it went. The second one was saved and the tooth fairy gave him some money for it. Alex is zijn tweede tand kwijt. Zijn eerste kon niet meer teruggevonden worden omdat hij een appel aan het eten was, en je kunt je wel voorstellen waar die naar toe was. De tweede was bewaard gebleven en de "tandenfee" heeft hem er wat geld voor gegeven.

Axel won first place in the tiger cub scouts, which qualifies him to go on to the district race. He shares the first spot with his friend Joey who averaged the same time in the 10 or so races. Axel's entry was a yellow car with a tiger face. [more pictures] Axel heeft de eerste plaats gewonnen by de tijger welpen en mag nu door naar de district wedstrijd. Hij deelt de eerste plaats met zijn vriendje Joey die gemiddeld dezelfde tijd had over 10 races. Axel's aanmelding was een gele auto met een tijger gezicht. [meer fotos]

Axel was at Pieter's birthday and they went to snow board on an artificial course. It was cold and windy, but he did very well. [bigger picture]
